The Silk Road Ensemble, which was formed in 1998 to study and perform together with cellist Yo-Yo Ma, to examine the relationship between tradition and innovation in music, releases a new album [A Playlist Without Borders] this year for its 15th anniversary.
This album is the fourth album following [When Strangers Meet], [Beyond the Horizon], and [New Impossibilities], showing that the epic musical journey along the Silk Road has evolved across borders and into a new shape. I am impressed once.
This album, where you can meet various types of works such as suites, solo songs, and modern music based on traditional music, contains seven works divided into seventeen tracks, and all twenty members including Korean member Kim Dong-won participated in the recording. I did.
