[BEAST's 3rd mini album-Mastermind]

Beast, who announced a splendid comeback by pre-released a ballad number that exceeded expectations,'Climbing the Fist', released a new album titled 〈Mastermind〉. 〈Mastermind〉 is the title of this album and the title of the intro track, which means ‘excellent person who controls things closely.’ This contains the ambition that Beast will completely take off the frame of a rookie and lead the public with their own music.
The first track [Mastermind], which makes you look forward to the performance the moment you listen with the magnificent string sound and intense beat music, is the secret title track that will upgrade BEAST to the next level. It is a song in which composers Shinsa Dong Ho-raeng, Choi Gyu-sung, and Rado member Yong Jun-hyung participated in the lyric writing. Strong synth riffs, drums, and Beast's vocals harmonize well, showing a high degree of completion. In particular, the dramatic development, Yoseob Yang's amazing vocal ad-lib, and a unique ending that is not common in songs make the title song'Sum' stand out even more.
In addition, Super Changtai's song'VIU (Very Important U)', which is the first to participate in BEAST's album, revealed another aspect of BEAST with a clear vocal that makes full use of the members' personality in a sweet melody with strong addiction unlike the existing BEAST.
'Break Down', which showcases Yong Jun-hyung's emotional rap and the members' vocal skills, is a joint work by Lim Sang-hyuk and Lee Ju-hyung, and the sadness melted over the strong synth sound is impressive. Finally, a total of five songs, including ``Pick Your Fist,'' which were loved by digital pre-disclosure, all show a diverse musical spectrum, indicating that Beast's musicality has matured.
